Data Center Features

Regulated Climate Control

The data centers' HVAC (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning) systems are N+1 redundant. With full particle filtering and humidity control, the storage temperatures are maintained at a cool 72 degrees to ensure an ideal performance environment for your server.

Power Systems

ServerBeach is not reliant upon the local power grid to guarantee maximum uptime. Our on-site, auto-switched power generators and centralized UPS systems provide power conditioning and ensure uninterrupted data center operation. Additionally, every major component of the emergency power system is regularly serviced and tested to ensure that they will continue to function in the event of an emergency

Datacenter Security

Our data centers are physically isolated from everyone but level three technicians. Public access is strictly forbidden. Proximity access cards restrict entry into every datacenter and the facility is completely locked down at all times. Facilities are also under video surveillance and monitored 24x7x365 by our NOC in Vancouver.

The Network

Our Network is fully redundant, uses redundant fiber entry points and connects only with Tier I upstream providers such as AT&T, Savvis, Sprint and MCI. We guarantee 99.9% uptime and will provide you credit for any network downtime experienced as per our SLA.

Bandwidth Utilization

It is a common misconception that the amounts of bandwidth (size of the pipes that carry the data) differentiate web hosting companies. In reality it is not only the size of the pipes that matters, it is the utilization levels. The utilization of our Internet connections is vital to a network’s ability to transfer data without packet loss or latency. ServerBeach aims to keep all connection usage below 50% to avoid any connectivity problems.

Dynamic Routing

Our datacenters run the Border Gateway Protocol (BGP4) for best case routing. The BGP4 protocol is a standard that allows for the routing of packets of information sent out from our network. Each packet of information is evaluated and sent over the best route possible. Because of our redundant network architecture, packets may be sent via alternative routes even if they are being delivered to the same end user. Should one of our providers fail, packets leaving our network are automatically redirected through another route via a different provider.

Network Security

The PEER 1 network is a fully switched network. Traffic destined for a website hosted on a server is sent only through switching equipment necessary to deliver the information to that server. This minimizes the risk of someone sniffing or capturing traffic being sent across the network. Furthermore, ServerBeach vigorously prosecutes persons who generate malicious attacks on our internal network.

Fee Schedule

• Fee schedule and payment will abide by the rules of the E-Rate system.

Development Progression Guarantee 

• Netricks will perform all duties and expectations in a set time schedule.  It must be understood, however, that certain aspects of the development will require client interaction and feedback.  Due to this fact, the exact timeframe for the development cannot be determined.
• Netricks will begin the project no later then 7 business days after the receipt of signed contract.
• Netricks requires that certain elements be delivered in specified formats in order to proceed with this phase of the project.  If the domain name has already been purchased then we would require either access to the registrar or we would need to be in contact for the person in charge of handling the domain name registration

Assumptions

The following assumptions are being made for this project.  Any deviations from the stated assumptions may cause delays in delivery and be subject to additional charges.

• Netricks will be provided adequate support and telephone service for the initial setup of the accounts.  Dedicated server support will be available in block hour time and or service level support agreements.
• The primary contacts for this project will be Greg Richburg (Netricks); and Netricks will require a single primary contact from your organization.
• All interactions, requests for additional work, and/or changes in scope for this project shall occur through the primary contact in written form (e-mail.)

Agreement

Upon acceptance of Netricks, Inc. as a hosting provider, Netricks will then furnish client with a proper agreement and contract for the term discussed.
